In a stunning display of dominance, India crushed the UAE in their Asia Cup T20I clash on Wednesday, setting multiple records along the way. The UAE were bundled out for just 57 runs, the lowest total ever scored against India in men’s T20Is. This also marks UAE’s lowest-ever T20I total and the second-lowest in Asia Cup T20 history, after Hong Kong’s 38 against Pakistan in 2022.

India’s chase was almost effortless. They reached the target with 93 balls to spare, smashing the record for the largest victory in terms of balls remaining in men’s T20Is, surpassing their previous best of 81 balls against Scotland in 2021.

This emphatic win is also the second-biggest margin of victory for a Full Member nation in T20Is, only behind England’s 101-ball win over Oman in the 2023 T20 World Cup. Notably, India became the first team in Asia Cup T20 history to win a match with more than 10 overs to spare.

The match highlighted India’s relentless efficiency and UAE’s struggles under pressure, making this one of the most dominant performances in recent T20I history. Fans can expect India to carry this momentum forward in the tournament.
